<\/u>Little Leon Knight was signed from Brighton & Hove Albion at the start of January 2006 for a bargain price of \u00c2\u00a3125,000. He scored a hatrick in 27 minutes on his Swansea debut against MK Dons and ended the season with 12 goals for the Swans. <\/p>\n

The 23 year old started his career at Chelsea and has also played for the England Under 17, 18, 19 & 20 sides, but only made one appearance for Chelsea – as a substitute for Gianfranco Zola in a UEFA Cup game against Levski Sofia in 2001! He then made a few loan moves before settling at Brighton. <\/p>\n

The last time Knight played a full season at League One level he scored 26 goals for Brighton; Knight has bags of pace and a good eye for goal, sometimes he does look lazy and disinterested but his goals record speaks for itself. Let’s hope he shows more of the same this coming season.<\/p>\n
