He is now on his way to hospital with what appears to be knee ligament damage."

Scunthorpe boss Brian Laws was delighted with his side’s second-half display and feels he saw plenty to build on for the rest of the season.

"We had to step up 20 percent after our first half performance," said Laws. "I thought our second half display was outstanding.

"We quickly got back on level terms, then went in front and the only disappointment is we did not go on and win the game.

"Playing against 10 men is often difficult because it does fire up the opposition.

"But it’s our first point on the board and our second half performance gives us something to build on."

thisissouthwales.co.uk

CLICK HERE TO SHARE YOUR VIEWS

CLICK HERE TO RATE THE PLAYERS

Scunthorpe United 2 Swansea City 2 Ten-man Swansea hit back for a point in a 2-2 draw at Scunthorpe after having midfielder Alan Tate sent off for a two-footed tackle early in the first half.
