Hi all,<\/p>\n

My name is Ryan Orton and I’m a season ticket holder for the Swans. I post on the message board under the username Bonjour1.<\/p>\n

As some of you know I am running the Paris marathon on April 15th<\/sup> to try to raise money for the Cardiac High Dependency and Intensive Care Units at Morriston Hospital.<\/p>\n

Should anyone from Swansea and the surrounding areas suffer with heart problems, it’ll be the staff at these wards that will care for them.<\/p>\n

My dad was treated at these wards in 1999. Sadly (for me at least!!) he passed away but the care and compassion that he and my family were shown was overwhelming. <\/p>\n

There are 2 reasons for this project:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. For me to show my gratitude to the staff and to “give something back.”<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    1. To enable any future patients and families (which could be any of us) to benefit from the same outstanding level of treatment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      All donations will help, no matter what amount. Unfortunately, as this is not a recognised charity, I am unable to set up a website for people to donate. Therefore, should you wish to support me there are 3 options for donations.<\/p>\n
