"I’ll take on board what John Toshack and other people in the game say to me because I respect their comments," said Duffy.<\/p>\n

"But I don’t accept it from people outside the game, people who might not have kicked a ball in their life.<\/p>\n

"I’ve seen people in the paper having a go at me, but I’ve got no interest in what they’re saying. A lot of people know nothing about football, so what they say doesn’t bother me.<\/p>\n

"I don’t want to name names, but some people in the media have been having a go at me for no apparent reason. If they want to make a living out of doing that, it’s up to them.<\/p>\n

"But I won’t accept criticism from people who haven’t got a clue what they’re talking about.<\/p>\n

"Maybe I have come to a bit of a halt in my career, but I’m hopeful I can still push on.<\/p>\n

"Everyone has a blip at some point in their career, but whatever people think, I’ve still been playing regular football and I’m enjoying myself.<\/p>\n

"I’m at Swansea until the end of the season. Hopefully we’ll get into the play-offs and I’ll be involved in those, then I’ll just have to take it from there.<\/p>\n

"I’ve hardly played any football for Portsmouth and I’ve been out on loan more or less for the last 18 months, but I still feel I’m developing.<\/p>\n

"Swansea is my home-town club, but I can’t say whether there’s a possibility of me rejoining them permanently because I’m still under contract at Portsmouth.<\/p>\n

"I’ve got another two years left there after this season so I’ll just have to sit down and assess things in the summer."<\/p>\n
