The defender was on the transfer list at the Liberty Stadium earlier this year but was removed – at his own request – as soon as Kenny Jackett left to be replaced by Roberto Martinez in February.<\/p>\n

Last week Roberto Martinez said that he would be one of six players to be offered a new deal but Izzy claims that nothing has been forthcoming and that nobody really knows what is going on<\/p>\n

“I’m a little disappointed that they have left it lingering,” Iriekpen told the Evening Post. “I’ve been at Swansea for four years. It’s not as if they don’t know me as a player or a person and I don’t know why it takes so long to sort these things out. “I’m basically a free agent now. I’m still hopeful that something can be sorted out at Swansea, but I still don’t know what’s on offer. “It could be that (because of the delay) it ends up with both parties disappointed.<\/a><\/p>\n

“I’ve spoken to Bayo and he doesn’t know what’s going on, “I thought he might have been sorted out by now because of his injury, but I don’t think anyone knows what’s going on yet.<\/a><\/p>\n

“My agent tells me there is interest from a few clubs,” “But before I start looking at other offers I want to know what’s happening at Swansea. “It’s up to them now to hurry up and make their offer.”<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n
