“I was definitely up there with the fastest,” admitted on-loan Anderson in the Wales on Sunday. “Not many would beat me in a sprint; Craig Bellamy was probably faster and Mark Gonzales.<\/p>\n

“When I was 13 I could do the 100m in 12 seconds – I’m not sure what time I could do now, but I know I’m faster.<\/p>\n

“And I’ve seen the massive pitch at the Liberty, which will suit my speed greatly – but I’d like to think there’s more to my game than just pace.<\/p>\n

“I’ve got every hope of making it at Liverpool. I’m still only 18 but to make the break- through at a club like Liverpool you need to be ready for that step up<\/p>\n

“I’ve been playing reserve football and it’s not a bad standard when you come up against international players.<\/p>\n

“But Rafa and I both wanted this move to happen – the club wouldn’t allow it last year, but when Swansea came in last month it was the right time.<\/p>\n

“Rafa and Roberto have got the same ideas for football and that’s why this move probably happened.<\/p>\n

“They both want to get the ball on the floor and play it and it suits the players they have. They’re very similar in that sense.<\/p>\n

“I’ve certainly not given up on making it and that’s why I want to do well at Swansea and give myself that chance.”<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n
