Swans Linked With Parker Move<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Parker has never failed to impress against the Swans and was on target as Blackpool won the final league game of last season 6-3 at the Liberty Stadium. He had been equally as impressive in the 1-1 draw at Bloomfield Road before Christmas but seems to have fallen out of favour with the management there.<\/p>\n

Parker also played with current Swans assistant manager Graeme Jones when they were both at St Johnstone so there seems a natural link.<\/p>\n

From a personal point of view I think Parker is a great talent and one I would love to see at the Liberty Stadium<\/p>\n

The report in the Blackpool Gazette reads<\/p>\n

“SWANSEA City are being linked with a swoop for Seasiders’ striker Keigan Parker as Friday’s transfer deadline looms.<\/p>\n

With just three days to go until the close of the window, Blackpool boss Simon Grayson has some tough decisions to make as he attempts to shape a squad capable of surviving and challenging in the Championship.<\/p>\n

His main decision is whether or not to keep Parker. <\/p>\n

The striker is undoubtedly unhappy after starting the last two matches on the bench. <\/p>\n

At least two League One clubs have inquired about his availability with under-pressure Colin Calderwood at Nottingham Forest also keeping tabs on the situation. <\/p>\n

But it’s Swansea who seem to be showing the firmest interest in the 25-year-old Scot, who arrived at Bloomfield Road in summer 2004 when Colin Hendry took over as Pool boss. <\/p>\n

The Welsh side are believed to be on the verge of making a big money bid which could tempt the Seasiders, who know that Parker could walk away for nothing when his contract ends in the summer. <\/p>\n

However, Grayson is unlikely to sell without having a replacement lined up.”<\/p><\/div>\n
