Duffy Delighted To Be Off Mark<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

It’s taken long enough but Darryl Duffy is back amongst the goals. A slow starter, by his own admission, he grabbed the first of Swansea’s two late goals last night having capitalised when Robinson’s shot was well saved by their keeper.<\/p>\n

It was Duffy’s first competitive goal since making his move from Hull permanent during the summer and was a relief to the striker. "I probably should have run into the net to get the ball back to the halfway line, but emotion took over," he said after the game.<\/p>\n

"I thought I’d done everything right in the first half with a header but the keeper pulled off a fantastic save. <\/p>\n

"I thought it was going to be one of those nights again so I’m delighted to get off the mark for the season.<\/p>\n

"It was so important to get the win. It shoots up right up there – we’re only three points behind [third-place] Carlisle now. It was vital to get the three points. <\/p>\n

"We seemed to do it the hard way but we’ll take the points however they come. We had a couple of chances in the first-half so we were a little bit disappointed not to be up at half-time. <\/p>\n

"They hit us with a sucker punch at the start of the second half, but I thought we showed great character and belief in our own ability to come back and win the game." <\/p>\n
