Speaking via the club’s official website, Way said “They are our bogey team but this is a new era for Swansea City and hopefully things will change on Saturday.

“Games between the two clubs are always tight, but Yeovil have always tended to edge it at their place. But with the way we are playing, I’m confident we can go there and do a job this time.”

Way also paid tribute to Yeovil manager Russell Slade, adding: “He has done a fantastic job down there, especially last season.

“He has obviously got a good eye for players and does well to attract them to Yeovil.
