However, Huw Jenkins has adamantly denied that there is a contract to be signed and insists that a three year deal was signed back in February this year.<\/p>\n
Speaking in tonight’s Evening Post, the Chairman said ”There’s no truth at all in the claim that Roberto hasn’t signed a contract with us.<\/p>\n
”He is a man who doesn’t leave anything to chance, and he signed a three-year deal within a couple of days of agreeing to take over. Nothing has changed since then.’<\/p>\n
”If there was anything in these stories I would tell you – and I haven’t heard anything,” added the Swansea chairman.<\/p>\n
”In football you get lots of rumours and, the more successful we are under Roberto, the more rumours there are likely to be.<\/p>\n
”But I’m not even thinking about him going to Wigan. Their chairman is not dull. It hasn’t really worked out for them with Chris Hutchings and I would imagine they are going to go for experience this time.<\/p>\n
”As for Roberto, I don’t think he would want to go anywhere.<\/p>\n
