Bodde has expressed a desire to leave the Liberty and join Derby after a close season full of speculation that shows no sign of ending. With Derby still adamant that the player desires a move to Pride Park they could now face competition from West Brom after it emerged yesterday that the Premiership new boys could also mount a bid for the midfielder.<\/p>\n
"Until Ferrie is told differently, he is a Swansea City player," the Swansea manager told the Evening Post.<\/p>\n
"He has got another two years on his contract and I can definitely see him playing for us next season.<\/p>\n
"Yes, something could still happen with him, but that is true with every player in our squad.<\/p>\n
"He has been the story of the summer and I understand it's probably going to carry on, but Ferrie's in the same situation as every one of his team-mates.<\/p>\n
"We're planning for the new season and we're planning with Ferrie as part of our squad.<\/p>\n
