Speaking to this week's Wales on Sunday when previewing the new season, the Stoke manager said “I think it will be an even more difficult division again this season<\/p>\n
“You just have to look at the teams that have gone down to realise that.<\/p>\n
“The biggest thing we had was a group of players who turned up every week. That is what you need.<\/p>\n
“We didn’t have the strength in depth or the quality of some of the other teams, but we turned up and had a go every time.<\/p>\n
“Swansea have done very well and it will certainly be interesting when the two sides (Swansea and Cardiff) meet,” he admitted.<\/p>\n
“They have done really well and I think they will do OK this season.”<\/p>\n
