The Swans travel to Deepdale on Tuesday night on the back of a 4-0 hammering at Reading – a defeat that saw them tumble to 18th place in the Championship table.<\/p>\n

And with Wolves – 22 points from 24 – to follow on Saturday it won’t be an easy week for the Swans before the season heads into its second international break.<\/p>\n

Rangel was part of a defence beaten poorly three times in the opening 45 minutes – a scoreline that could have been worse in the one way traffic flow at the Madejski.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the Evening Post, the Spanish defender said “When you concede four goals it is very, very disappointing, as a defender it will be very hard to look back at that game and watch the goals again.\"Click<\/a><\/p>\n

“We are conceding silly goals from set-pieces and crosses, which we have to stop. It is no good just saying that we must learn from our mistakes \u2014 we have to prevent these silly goals.<\/p>\n

“This was the worst game I have been involved in while I have been here. But in a situation like this you look to the next game and make a huge improvement.<\/p>\n

“We have Preston tomorrow and everyone must go into that game ready to do much better because we didn’t reach the standards expected of us.<\/p>\n

“Last season we got away with things but at this level you can’t do that because there are big clubs and players and you will be punished<\/p>\n

“I expected this season to be a lot harder and that has been proved.<\/p>\n

“You see the table and we are not in a good position.<\/p>\n

“But we know we have the players here that can take us away from trouble and move up the table.<\/p>\n

“Hopefully we can make up for this setback and reach our standards at Preston.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
