Gower watched as Scotland scored twice on Saturday to secure three points for the Swans against Wolves and he now believes that his team mate will get better as the season goes on.<\/p>\n
Scotland was dropped from the Swans squad last week for the victory over Preston but bounced back in style against Wolves and Gower told the Western Mail \u201cIt looked like dropping him did the trick, It obviously worked because he\u2019s gone out and shown just what a good player he is.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd it\u2019s great playing with him when he\u2019s in that kind of form because you know the ball will hold up with him, you know you can make your runs without him giving it away and he will use you if it\u2019s right.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s great off both feet and there\u2019s more to just goals with him \u2013 he\u2019s got his own unique style and if things don\u2019t come off, with the way he\u2019s laid back, then it can frustrate.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo I\u2019m really pleased for him because he was under a bit of pressure, but got his goals which speak for themselves.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe will get more at this level, I\u2019m sure of that. We just have to get him the ball around the box and, if people are patient with him, he will do well, I\u2019m sure of that.\u201d<\/p>\n
Gower himself was denied a first Swans goal against Wolves when a linesmans flag ruled the goal out for offside against Jordi Gomez who seemed to be onside at the time.\u00a0 Gower added \u201cI didn\u2019t think he touched it \u2013 not that it mattered in the end,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019ve hit the post a couple of times \u2013 but hopefully it will come soon.<\/p>\n
