The goalkeeper – on loan from Birmingham City – has played in the last two games for the Swans – the 3-0 victory over Southampton at the Liberty and the 2-1 defeat to Wolves on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n
And he could be in line for a hat-trick of appearances tomorrow at Doncaster although many believe that Roberto will turn to the more experienced Dimi Konstantopoulos.<\/p>\n
However, whatever his manager decided, Krysiak is clearly happy to be at Swansea and getting the experience that he is.<\/p>\n
Speaking to the Evening Post, the keeper said “When Dorus got injured I knew it would be a good chance and experience for me<\/p>\n
“To play for a Championship club is a big opportunity and you don’t often see a 19-year-old keeper playing at this level.<\/p>\n
“I have been waiting for this chance and I know I am still young and have a lot to learn.<\/p>\n
“Every single mistake I make is because I am not an experienced player, but I am very keen to learn.<\/p>\n
“Everyone makes mistakes and I think it is because of my age. But speaking to Roberto, Inaki, Dorus and Dimi really helps.<\/p>\n
“I have watched Dorus and trained with Dimi and they have a lot of experience, which they are very keen to share.<\/p>\n
“Dorus lives in the same building as me. I meet him in the morning before training and he talks me through games. He lets me know what I am doing right and wrong and I am thankful for that.<\/p>\n
“With a few more games I can learn more.<\/p>\n
“I was quite nervous before the Southampton game but that is natural because of my age<\/p>\n
“But when Dimi arrived it was between us to play. Roberto called me into his office two hours before the game and told me I had impressed him in the reserves and in training so I would play.<\/p>\n
“I never played before in a big stadium like the Liberty. It is a fantastic atmosphere during the game and I am learning all the time.<\/p>\n
“It has been great to play with experienced guys in front of me. They really help you settle into the game.<\/p>\n
“I wasn’t very busy against Southampton but what I did I think I did well. From my opinion it was great because as a team you don’t want your keeper to be busy.<\/p>\n
“I was very busy against Wolves and the weather conditions weren’t the best because we played in snow \u2014 which I’ve never played in before.<\/p>\n
“Now we focus on the next game, which I don’t want to say I will be playing in because it is now my decision.<\/p>\n
“I will know on matchday and if Roberto wants me to play I will be ready. I am sure it will be another great experience for me.<\/p>\n
“I think I have done well so far and staying at Swansea would be good for me<\/p>\n
“I am trying my best in training and the games to prove myself and give myself a chance to play in the next game.<\/p>\n
“I don’t know where-else I could get a chance at this level.<\/p>\n
“If Roberto gives me another chance and signs me for a long time that would be brilliant \u2013 I would appreciate that.<\/p>\n
“If not I would have to try and get some games with another team. Other than that, I would have to speak to Birmingham and see what happens there.<\/p>\n
“But I have really enjoyed it so far. Everyone has been so supportive.<\/p>\n
“The fans start singing ‘super keeper’, and that made me feel very happy,” said Krysiak.<\/p>\n
“After the game I wanted to go to them and ask them to chant my country. I didn’t, although that would be great.<\/p>\n
“So, If I am playing, if the fans could sing Poland Poland \u2014 which in my language is Polska Polska \u2014 that would give me a big lift.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
