And Taylor took the chance to tell Wales on Sunday that he fears the same for Roberto who won the League One title in his first full season and has guided the Swans into the upper reaches of the Championship.<\/p>\n
\u201cI do see big similarities between Aidy and Roberto,\u201d said Taylor – the similarities though stretch no further than being young managers as he goes onto admit.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey both came into management at a relatively young age after playing careers which had not exactly seen them hit the very peak levels of the game.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not too familiar with Roberto\u2019s management style, I actually knew him better as a player under Kenny Jackett, but he seems the type of man who brings a lot of energy to everything he does.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe seems very approachable, the kind of man players have no trouble going to with their problems, in many ways Aidy was exactly the same.<\/p>\n
\u201cAidy enjoyed a lot of success when he first arrived at a young age and Roberto at Swansea is doing exactly the same thing.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t want to be a doom-monger in any way whatsoever, but you do have to be so careful when you are starting out on your career and you need to be given time, time to make your mistakes and learn from them.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou learn the most from the bad times in this game, but the way things are now at the first sign of weakness you find yourself out on your ear.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat is what happened to Aidy, I don\u2019t know what happened within the club, but the expectation sometimes is frankly ridiculous.<\/p>\n
\u201cI listen to these phone-in shows after matches on the radio and it is unbelievable.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you do not take a team up it is seen as a failure, only a very small number of teams can actually gain promotion though.<\/p>\n
