The Swansea City Chairman was quick to rubbish reports that they had come to an agreement with the player over a get out clause when the new contract was negotiated last summer.<\/p>\n
The claims were made by Bodde’s agent via BBC Sport yesterday but quickly denied by Roberto and then Huw Jenkins added his voice behind the denial via today’s Evening Post.<\/p>\n
The Swans Chairman said “I don’t care what he says, there is no agreement in place<\/p>\n
“The fact is that Ferrie signed a long-term deal with us in the summer and the only people who will decide if he leaves Swansea are myself and Roberto (Martinez).<\/p>\n
“I’m sure you people in the media are clever enough to see what agents try to do.<\/p>\n
“Let’s put it all together, realise the transfer window is coming up and that agents are just trying to do their jobs.<\/p>\n
“I consider myself clever enough to understand what’s going on and I’m sure other people are too.<\/p>\n
