Orlandi has been a spectator for large chunks of this Championship season but hopes that Roberto has seen enough in him to win him a new contract when they talk about deals come the end of the summer.<\/p>\n
With the Swans seemingly set for another stab at Championship football next season, Orlandi said I don’t know if the gaffer wants me to stay, I just have to show him what I can do and try to earn a new contract.<\/p>\n
“I haven’t spoken with him about it and I’m not thinking about it. I just want to play in the last two games and we will see what happens in the summer.<\/p>\n
“I have only started four games in the league. That isn’t very many and it’s hard.<\/p>\n
“But I have had this chance to show who I am. Hopefully now Roberto and the chairman will think about me for next season.<\/p>\n
“We will talk about it when the season is over. The gaffer told me to be calm, not to think about it and just focus on the games.<\/p>\n
“I am very happy with my performances. It’s good to take the chance the gaffer has given me and I always try 100 per cent for this club.<\/p>\n
“Getting games is all that matters to me. And, while it’s a bit late now, I will give everything for this team.<\/p>\n
“You always feel better when you end the season well. And, if I can help the club get to the playoffs, I will have a happy holiday no matter what.”<\/p>\n
