The Swansea City goalkeeper will become a free agent in the summer and talks between the club and the player's representatives have been ongoing for some time now.<\/p>\n
De Vries told News of the World "The contract talks feel like they've been going on forever. I had the first offer from Swansea in October and my agent put the counter offer in in January. We had to wait a while for the Chairman to respond.<\/p>\n
"He came back to my agent a couple of weeks ago and they're talking again. We're trying to work hard to reach agreement.<\/p>\n
"I'm confident it will get sorted I want to stay at Swansea."<\/p>\n
In an article published on BBC Sport yesterday, De Vries was quoted as saying "It's just building up the contract, It has to be correct and that's what we are waiting for.<\/p>\n
