“We started well and we were creating plenty of chances.<\/p>\n
“We conceded on a counter attack and conceded a little bit of the game to them, but we were still in control and playing some fantastic football.<\/p>\n
“And at the start of the second half we again were creating opportunities to score but it was not our day.<\/p>\n
“After that we made small mistakes and against a team with Middlesbrough’s individual quality it is very difficult.<\/p>\n
“Our heads were down after the second goal but if, in those crucial moments, we had scored then the game would have been completely different. For me, it was a question of luck.<\/p>\n
“And after what we saw against a team who still have the same players from the Premier League, and the difficulties we have, then we should be pleased.<\/p>\n
“They had respect for us before the game and they will have plenty of respect for us now.<\/p>\n
“I believe in these players and when they all have to fight for their positions than we will be much better.<\/p>\n
“The midfield is an area where we are strong and when they are all fit we can be stronger as a side. It can be different.”<\/p>\n
