"Trunds has got the quality. Trunds has been a great player for this club in the past I don't see any reason why he couldn't do it for us again" Monk told the Evening Post<\/p>\n
"With the qualities he possesses he can win games. I'm not sure of his fitness and what condition he is in – he hasn't played much competitively over the past two years.<\/p>\n
"With Trunds when he is at a decent level that is when he can show his stuff.<\/p>\n
"When he scored 20 odd goals in one season for us it was after the best pre-season he had."<\/p>\n
Monk also said he would welcome back Bayo Akinfenwa should rumours of his return be true adding "Bayo is a great player and is scoring goals at the moment. He would be something different that we haven't had for a while a bit of strength and presence up front.<\/p>\n
