And he says that Swansea is where he feels at home, after spending a less than productive 2 years at Ashton Gate.<\/p>\n
“As a striker, scoring is what you are judged on,” said Trundle.<\/p>\n
“You are expected to score when you get a penalty like I did against Sheffield United, but to get one from open play is good for me.<\/p>\n
“Nathan put in a perfect ball to me and I had to finish it.<\/p>\n
“I had a lot of time to think about it, which can be difficult, but I managed to get a good connection. If I get chances in a game then I am confident in my ability in and around the box.<\/p>\n
“But there are four strikers here all challenging for one spot, and although it is good to get a goal, any one of the lads can step in and do the job.<\/p>\n
“When I go to training every day I see a lot of quality finishers there.<\/p>\n
“I’ve got to respect the manager’s decision.<\/p>\n
“It is not a case of me thinking I should be in the team because I’ve scored.<\/p>\n
“I’ve no qualms about fighting for my place here.<\/p>\n
“Goals give you confidence and having not been involved too much at Bristol City it did hit my confidence.<\/p>\n
“But it has given me a new lease of life being back at Swansea City \u00e2\u20ac\u201d this is where I feel at home playing football.<\/p>\n
“I’ve only started one game but I’m enjoying training, coming off the bench and more importantly playing in front of our fans.<\/p>\n
“It was great to score in front of the fans \u00e2\u20ac\u201d hopefully there will be more to come.<\/p>\n
“This is the place where I want to be playing my football so I will try everything I can to make it more permanent.<\/p>\n
“This is where I want to finish my playing days.<\/p>\n
“It is important to go into the break with a win. Everyone will be in an upbeat mood and will really enjoy training.<\/p>\n
“When you put an unbeaten run together, it can put you right up there.<\/p>\n
