The on loan Bristol City striker has scored twice since returning to the club in the summer on loan and is desperate to add to his tally against the high-flying Bluebirds.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s going to be special,\u201d says Trundle. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m desperate to be involved. It was my big regret when I left that I\u2019d never experienced a derby game.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI played against Cardiff for Bristol City and there\u2019s a bit of a rivalry there but it\u2019s nothing compared to this.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you live in the area for a while it doesn\u2019t take you long to realise what the game means to people.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAnd when you hear players from both sides talking about the games that have gone on before, it\u2019s easy to see what a big derby it is.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAll the passion, the noise, it\u2019s everything you want. I never got that chance when I was here the first time; now I\u2019m desperate for it.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been okay coming off the bench and I\u2019ve managed to get a couple of goals, which is great for me.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBut I\u2019ve made no secret of the fact that I want my long-term future to be here and to make that happen I need to be out on the pitch producing the goods, showing what I can do. I\u2019ll take every chance I can get because staying here is what I want more than anything.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIf I keep getting out there, keep adding up the goals hopefully I\u2019ll do enough.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBut I know to get a winning goal in the derby will be huge and perhaps that\u2019s what I need to keep me here.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhat happened, happened. I know things are going to get brought up again because it will be the first time I\u2019ve played against them for Swansea.<\/span><\/p>\n
