\u201cIn a derby game, you have to stick together. It was disappointing to go in level at the break.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt 2-0 up we were in control. But fair play to them, they stuck at it and came back, although to us they scored two sloppy goals.<\/p>\n
\u201cMaybe a couple of seasons ago, we\u2019d have lost that game from being 2-0 up.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut the character that we showed to push on again was different class.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe manager has instilled a winning mentality into us. That\u2019s our 10th game unbeaten now.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou can see how hard we work for each other and how we stick together.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was a brilliant feeling.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat was my sixth start and I hadn\u2019t scored this season.<\/p>\n
The more it goes on, the more it gets written that midfielders need to score.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd against your local rivals,it\u2019s even more special.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe main thing was the three points \u2013 and we got that.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re not going to get carried away, but obviously it breeds confidence when you beat your local rivals.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf we\u2019d lost, this international break would have been a long 14 days. It makes training that bit harder. But we\u2019ll enjoy ourselves this weekend before getting back to work on Monday.\u201d<\/p>\n
Pratley was also making reference to pre-match comments by Jay Bothroyd when he added \u201cWe saw what was said about us not being the same team.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd, of course, it motivates you a little bit more.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut we wanted to win the game for ourselves and our fans,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
