Speaking after the game, Bywater said “It (Bessone’s shot) hit the top of the near post, just under the crossbar and went it.<\/p>\n
“I don’t think he meant it. He probably meant to strike it but not that well.<\/p>\n
“He came a long way from left-back and we’ve not picked him up.<\/p>\n
“We got into the last 10 minutes and probably a bit of a lack of concentration allowed them to have a chance and to score a goal.<\/p>\n
“I thought we dug in well \u2013 they are not a bad side.<\/p>\n
“We didn’t play well in the first half but I thought we were better in the second half.<\/p>\n
“In the end, it was tough on us not to come away with a 0-0.<\/p>\n
“It was a tough game. They played well, to be fair, and we were poor.<\/p>\n
