The Swansea City defender was speaking after Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Peterborough where the Swans were denied by a last minute goal at London Road.<\/p>\n
Speaking to the Evening Post, Williams said “It’s frustrating that we play so well but we don’t come away with the points we deserve<\/p>\n
“When we dominate teams like we do, we need to score because it shows that we will be punished for little mistakes.<\/p>\n
“The main thing is we are playing well. I know some people may be getting a little frustrated with hearing it, but if we continue playing like this we will be up there among the play-offs.<\/p>\n
“Everyone is really disappointed, which is a real understatement,” he said.<\/p>\n
“We are not happy with their first goal because there was a blatant foul on Gorka (Pintado), but we should have dealt with it.<\/p>\n
“That last goal was a real sucker punch. Everything bad that could have happened, did.<\/p>\n
“Every time we make a mistake it seems to hit us \u2014 like it did at Newcastle \u2014 so that is the lesson we need to learn.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
