The Swansea City manager is allegedly one of a number of managers on the list of Burnley who are looking for a new man following Owen Coyle’s departure to Bolton.<\/span><\/p>\n

But Sousa himself is not worried by the speculation and insists that he has a job to do at Swansea and told the Evening Post “The speculation is something to appreciate<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“It means people are looking at our work and it means we are working well if we get this kind of recognition.<\/span><\/p>\n

“But I haven’t had any contact with Burnley and my ambition at this moment is to manage Swansea.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I am full of desire to do well here and I am happy we are doing well.<\/span><\/p>\n

“It is the same as when other clubs are interested in my players \u2014 it is recognition because they are doing well.<\/span><\/p>\n

“But I am only interested in doing my work well at Swansea. I respect my club and my players and this is all I am looking to do.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Swansea fans need to be happy with the way we work and the way we are improving all the time, because we work to give them success.<\/span><\/p>\n

“That is the important thing \u2014 to play good football and get success at Swansea.<\/span><\/p>\n

“With all respect, I am Swansea manager and that is all I am thinking about.”<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
