The Swansea City midfielder believes it will be harder for the Swans in the rearranged fixture especially with Boro likely to strengthen in the January transfer window<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking to the Evening Post, Britton said <\/span>“Maybe this weekend would have been a good time to play Middlesbrough<\/span><\/p>\n

“I think they have got a few injury problems, with Adam Johnson out, while Lita is suspended.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Things probably haven’t gone as well for them as they might have hoped under Gordon Strachan, but they are talking about getting some big signings in.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I am not sure when the re-arranged game will be, but they’ll be hoping to have a few players back from injury and they might have a few new faces as well, so it could be tougher for us.<\/span><\/p>\n

“But it’s one of those things.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The weather is causing chaos all over the country so the game was always going to be in danger.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We’re going to get a tough game whenever we go to Middlesbrough, but we know that if we’re at our best, we’re good enough to get a result.”<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
