The Swansea City midfielder started his 10th game of the season on Tuesday night but was substituted at half time as Paulo Sousa looked to change the direction of the game.<\/span><\/p>\n

And that probably has just about summed up Lopez’ stay at the club so far with chances few and far between in the Swans march to the play off positions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking though to the Evening Post, Lopez was in no mood to moan and vowed to take every opportunity that came his way in future.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Like everybody here, I want to play from the start in every game<\/span><\/p>\n

“I’m working every day to get a starting position in the team. It’s not easy as there are many good players here and you need to take your chance when you are in the first XI.<\/span><\/p>\n

“When any player gets three or four games in a row it is better for him because it is difficult to come in and make an impression in just one game.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I need a run of games to show my quality, but I understand there are a lot of players wanting to do the same.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I understood that the gaffer wanted to make a tactical switch.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Of course, it was disappointing as I wanted to help the team, but there wasn’t any problem.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I want the best for the team and I am behind the gaffer in his decisions.”<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
