The Swansea City striker was shown the red card for what Savage described as a “career ending tackle” on Saturday and over 24 hours after the incident Savage was still moaning about the tackle but talking himself up in terms of how he managed to get out of the way.<\/p>\n
Pintado is accused of diving in from an astonishing 40 yards away with Savage moaning \u201cIt was one of the worst I\u2019ve ever seen. It\u2019s a good job I used my experience to get out of the way.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf I hadn\u2019t done that I would have had a broken leg and that would have ended my career.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe should get banned for more than three games for that.<\/p>\n
\u201cI play on the edge but that was terrible. He knew he had to go.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf the guy hadn\u2019t lunged from 40 yards, two-footed and thigh-high, that (the brawl that ensued) wouldn\u2019t have happened.<\/p>\n
