Curtis yet again finds himself in charge of Swansea City after Sousa left for the Leicester job and – maybe not unsurprisingly – he ruled himself out of wanting the job on a permanent basis.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the Evening Post, Curtis said "They were both successful, Roberto (Martinez) and Paulo, but it will be interesting to see if we go down the foreign route again <\/p>\n

"From a personal point of view I would like to see a British-type manager come in this time.<\/p>\n

"We need a bit of stability, so Graeme Jones, Paul Tisdale, Gary Speed, whoever comes in will certainly inherit a good group of players.<\/p>\n

"The big problem last year was scoring goals and if we can remedy that then we should have another very good season.<\/p>\n

"It's not for me," he said.<\/p>\n

"It's maybe something I would have tried 10 or 15 years ago, but I've seen what it's done to different managers.<\/p>\n

"Caretaker's okay because you can pass it back on — it's like looking after the grandchildren.<\/p>\n

"There's no rush. We've got almost five weeks until the start of the season.<\/p>\n
