"I thought it was a wonderful performance and display and a big, big credit to the players," Rodgers told BBC Sport Wales.<\/p>\n
"They have taken on board all the things we've been doing in terms of our pressing and getting people into the box, and it was a near-on perfect performance.<\/p>\n
"It's an offensive approach but always with discipline and I think what you saw was the goal scoring and the possession with the football and I think the intensity of our pressure allowed us to get into those positions."<\/p>\n
Rodgers was also delighted with the performance of new signing Scott Sinclair "I think he settled very well," added Rodgers. "Him and Nathan Dyer were outstanding on both sides. <\/p>\n
