Snodin admits he knows little about Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers but accepts that his pedigree is good given his Chelsea background.<\/p>\n
“I don’t know Brendan especially well,” Snodin told the Western Mail. “But I know where he’s been and what he’s done.<\/p>\n
“Anyone who’s taken on by Mourinho and gets the chance to work with a master like that is going to know their football. You ignore that at your peril.<\/p>\n
“Swansea are not a club who were being marked out as definite promotion material before the season started, but I’ve watched several of their games and they’ll be involved.<\/p>\n
“People might look at Swansea’s squad and see a few unfamiliar players, but I look at it and see no real weakness.<\/p>\n
“It’s big, it’s strong and it’s suited to the Championship.<\/p>\n
“Finding consistency is a massive challenge and the teams who do will get out of this division.<\/p>\n
“But a good start is all we’ve had. I’m not reading anything into the league table, genuinely.<\/p>\n
“It won’t take shape for a while and it might still be wide open in eight months’ time.<\/p>\n
“Last season, just about every club in the Championship had something to play for going into the last few games.<\/p>\n
“At the moment we’re not thinking about our league position.<\/p>\n
