“To a man our\u00a0defenders were magnificent, and because of that Stephen Bywater didn’t have too much to do in goal.<\/p>\n
“We have been encouraged with our performances this season and the manner in which we defended today and\u00a0earn\u00a0a point is really pleasing.<\/p>\n
“It’s even more pleasing when you consider we didn’t have too many options on the bench to change things around.<\/p>\n
“Stephen Pearson isn’t quite fit yet, Chris Porter has been out for quite a while and then we had youngsters Mark O’Brien and Ben Pringle who are still learning their trade.<\/p>\n
“Kris Commons, Alberto Bueno and Robbie Savage were feeling it too after such a hard and gruelling week, so it is a magnificent effort.<\/p>\n
“To be fair, there is a tinge of disappointment we didn’t pick them off in the second half as well.<\/p>\n
“We broke two-on-one twice and didn’t get anything from it, but we’re more than happy to go into the break unbeaten in four games.<\/p>\n
“With two weeks until our next game, it is really nice to go into the next fortnight without a defeat for everyone.<\/p>\n
