“I thought we were a real threat going forward, especially in the first-half, and our passing at times was fantastic.<\/p>\n
“They came at us after the break, which I knew they would, and we had to dig in. But we held out really well and came away with a fantastic result.<\/p>\n
“Reading are a good side who don’t lose many at home. And it showed how well we did because that was our first win at Reading in 25 years.<\/p>\n
“Adam is a terrific ‘keeper in one on one situation,” added Rodgers. “But I thought Scott kept his composure well and showed great quality.<\/p>\n
“I think he has learnt from the one on one situations he has found himself in this season, such as at Norwich. He makes a difference for us, but that’s why we bought him.<\/p>\n
“I thought we controlled the game up until half-time,” added Rodgers. “We always looked like scoring goals.<\/p>\n
“While I knew Reading would come out strong for the second-half, Nathan (Dyer) and (Stephen) Dobbie had great opportunities to put the game to bed.
