With the season now in it’s second quarter, Rodgers is a happy man as he sees his side in the promotion mix and occupying a play off position.<\/p>\n
It was a play off position that was held for most of the season only for the Swans to miss out at the very end to Blackpool but this time around Rodgers believes that the Swans can maintain their position although he accepts – as with anyone – that a small amount of luck may be needed.<\/p>\n
Speaking to the Western Mail, Brendan said \u201cWe\u2019ve been very, very good up until now \u2013 it\u2019s just the type of game we have to get used to<\/p>\n
\u201cTuesday was a point against a very good side and keeps a clean sheet here as well \u2013 we\u2019ve only conceded one goal in all competitions here, which is a terrific record.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve shown over the course of 12 games that we can be up there, it\u2019s just keeping that mental pace and that ambition and if we have a wee bit of luck and steer clear of injuries then I think we can be there or thereabouts along with QPR.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe position we\u2019re in at the moment is excellent.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe want to grow and keep performing and moving up the table, but we\u2019re happy.\u201d<\/p>\n
