The Swansea City manager was delighted to have secured a\u00a0victory in his first South Wales derby and praised his side’s performance immediately after the game.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was a fantastic result and a wonderful team performance because to come to Cardiff and win such an emotional derby game is superb, both for the players and our fans.<\/p>\n
\u201cCardiff gave us massive respect by changing their style to 4-3-3, so it took us time to settle down.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen the game is tight, we have the players who can take it on in the second half and our idea of the game was to dominate by playing football.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have youth and experience and we were inventive so the players will enjoy this evening but the job starts again tomorrow.<\/p>\n
