He told the official site after the game “We are all stunned at the moment.\u00a0 We don’t like losing especially at home.\u00a0 We don’t like the taste.<\/p>\n
“We didn’t start well and it wasn’t our evening.\u00a0 We improved a lot in the second half but it certainly wasn’t our night.<\/p>\n
“But I can’t criticise my players too much as they’ve been fantastic since I’ve come here.\u00a0 Apart from Nottingham Forest away we haven’t had many off days like that.<\/p>\n
“It was always going to be difficult after Sunday’s game but full credit to Bristol they scored early and defended well after that.<\/p>\n
“I said to the players after the game that they’ve got to learn the lesson because we can’t afford to have other off days.\u00a0 I hope they’ve got it our of their system because we’ve always got\u00a0 to be 100 per cent.<\/p>\n
“But they are an honest bunch.\u00a0 They are really hurting in the dressing room because they didn’t produce their normal level of performance.\u00a0 We’ve bounced back before though.\u00a0 We’ve got to put it to bed and show the right reaction against Middlesbrough on Sunday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
