Sinclair scored his 12th Swansea City goal of the season at the weekend – form which has persuaded Stuart Pearce to call him up for Under-21 duty and he could find himself in the thick of the action this evening.<\/p>\n
Sinclair met up with the rest of the squad after Sunday’s game and flew out to Germany yesterday afternoon hopeful that his debut was just around the corner.<\/p>\n
\u201cPlaying every week I am getting more confident as the games go on and hopefully I can take that into the international stage,\u201d Sinclair told the Western mail<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m really delighted with the call-up. It\u2019s an honour to play for your country.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo get into any international age group \u2013 under-18s, 19s or 21s \u2013 is a massive honour for any player and I\u2019m really excited about it.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s also an honour for Swansea and everyone can see the way we play football is really paying off.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe manager brought me in and has given me loads of confidence<\/p>\n
\u201cHe has a lot of faith in me. You can see from the way I am playing on the pitch the manager is really getting the best out of me.<\/p>\n
\u201cSince I was 16 at Chelsea and playing as a striker he\u2019s helped me.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe has got me as a winger now and you can see the confidence in my game \u2013 that\u2019s down to the manager.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve got to keep chasing, keep winning games and moving up the table,\u201d added Sinclair.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere was definitely more pressure after the defeat to Bristol City.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen you lose your last game you have to make sure you follow it up with a win \u2013 we\u2019ve done that and hopefully we can kick on and keep winning games.<\/p>\n
\u201cWinning the Cardiff game took a lot out of everyone and then going into the next game so quickly the boys were not on it mentally.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was a great result against Boro, thankfully we got the goal before the end and we are happy with the three points.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are always trying to push at home to get the win.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou can see in the way we pass the ball around we are always trying to nick a goal.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m always happy to score and I was pleased to get my 12th of the season, but more importantly we got the three points.\u201d<\/p>\n
