Whilst Scott Sinclair on the opposite flank is getting all the plaudits it is Nathan Dyer who is going almost unnoticed with his excellent form this season.<\/p>\n
But while the media may ignore it there is no doubting Dyer’s importance to the team as Rangel explained<\/p>\n
\u201cNathan is a completely different player to Scott,\u201d he told the Western Mail.<\/p>\n
\u201cScott\u2019s got a lot of our goals so far, but Nathan is a massive player for us.<\/p>\n
\u201cAny left-back in the division who comes up against him knows they have to be on top of their game because he\u2019s right up there with the quickest in the Championship.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe has got so much quality, if he starts to add goals to his game he will be very difficult for anyone to stop.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe gaffer gives me freedom to go forward and that\u2019s something I like.<\/p>\n
\u201cI can get forward and support Nathan. I always say the best defence is a good attack.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve got a great understanding now and he makes it very easy to play alongside him.<\/p>\n
\u201cEveryone knows he has plenty of pace and when he passes me the ball I know it is going to be good.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe helps make me a better player.<\/p>\n
\u201cOver the last two seasons we\u2019ve shown we have a great understanding and we are now very comfortable playing alongside each other.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have shown we have the character to bounce back and the best teams with winning mentalities are able to do that.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are showing the right hunger to attack teams and score goals.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s great to see us near the top and what we have to do now is keep learning and keep improving.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat we\u2019ve got here that sets us apart from other teams is a fantastic team spirit.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe work so hard for each other because we have been together for a very long time.<\/p>\n
\u201cTeams like Middlesbrough have big signings, but maybe not the feeling of what it is to play with each other for many years.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe know each other and we know the system very well.<\/p>\n
\u201cQPR are dropping points and it is good to be able to look up rather than behind.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut it is a bit too early to tell what will happen at the end of the season, whether we will be top two, top six or whatever.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s great to see our team doing well, full of confidence and winning games, but it is a long season. So we have to learn from the last two seasons and keep going right until the end.\u201d<\/p>\n
