The Swansea City defender was linked last week with a move to Germany, adding to a list of interest that is suposed to include several Premier League sides.<\/p>\n
But he shrugged off the interest and told the Evening Post "I'm not bothered about it — I did German at school and I wasn't any good at it anyway<\/p>\n
"You only get linked if you are playing well, and I'm happy to be linked because it shows you're doing your job properly.<\/p>\n
"I don't know whether there was any truth in it but I've not thought about it.<\/p>\n
"I'm not going to be kicking down the manager's door asking what's happening.<\/p>\n
"I'm on a great journey here. I'm enjoying the season and I'm not worrying about these other things — I answer your questions and forget about it afterwards."<\/p>\n
Williams was also disappointed with the standard of performance in the FA Cup defeat on Saturday and he added "There are a number of fingers to be pointed after this performance, <\/p>\n
"When you play against teams from lower leagues with less quality, you've got to be stronger, particularly at set-pieces. People make a lot of noise when they are not playing, and, to be honest, if they get a chance for whatever reason their performance doesn't say pick me.<\/p>\n
