The Swansea City manager saw a Darren Pratley double defeat Bristol City and put the Swans in 3rd place going into Sunday’s crunch derby with Cardiff City.<\/p>\n
And a delighted Brendan told the official site after the game “I thought we were brilliant<\/p>\n
“I said to the players that not many teams come here and get clapped off by the home support.<\/p>\n
“The first-half was a good demonstration of how we play, with and without the ball, and the second-half we knew that Bristol City for the first 15 minutes would adapt tactically to try and stop us playing.<\/p>\n
“But once we rode that storm we took control again and it was impressive.”<\/p>\n
Bristol City boss Keith Millen, meanwhile, was disappointed with the result and with the manner in which his side conceded the two goals.<\/p>\n
“We let a very good passing side dictate the game,” he said.<\/p>\n
“We didn’t keep our shape well enough and when we had the ball, our lack of confidence affected our passing.<\/p>\n
“It was a soft goal to give away on ten minutes and once that went in the confidence just drained from every one of them.<\/p>\n
“The way we conceded the second goal, from a set-piece, was criminal. That’s the most annoying part of the game.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
