The Swansea City manager told the Evening Post ""I have said to the players that as we improve we will dictate how other teams play against us<\/p>\n
"We will dictate how they play with our pressure and our possession.<\/p>\n
"We did it last Saturday against Leeds, and not a lot of teams can do it because they haven't quite got that quality on the ball. <\/p>\n
"We are getting better all the time both offensively and defensively and that's pleasing because it means we can dictate.<\/p>\n
"That's the ethos I am trying to put in place at this club.<\/p>\n
"There's no doubt that when you are up near the top there's extra motivation for the opponents," he added.<\/p>\n
"It will be part of the opposition manager's team talk — can you show that you are better than the team in second place?<\/p>\n
"But this is the position we want to be in and I am not overly concerned about what our opponents are thinking.<\/p>\n
"We always respect the team we are playing, but it's really all about us.<\/p>\n
"Whatever happens, I have seen a great improvement this season," he added.<\/p>\n
"You look at the team at the moment and there's a good feel to us.<\/p>\n
"We have pace in the two full-back positions and two centre-backs who are solid defensively, are good organisers and are great on the ball.<\/p>\n
"The midfield players have been fantastic. We have good intensity there and players who are intelligent and good with the ball.<\/p>\n
