“You see this situation so many times and I told the referee that it was a very cheap penalty.<\/p>\n
“We made a contact but football is a contact game. If you put your hands on the player and push him you can say ‘fair enough’.<\/p>\n
“But I saw the ball from Elliott come across and I was looking at the ball more than the player.<\/p>\n
“I saw that Rodriguez couldn’t even have a header, so I just let the ball go past. There was a little contact but that happens in a game and it was a very soft penalty. <\/p>\n
