The Nottingham Forest manager saw his side stumble to a 0-0 draw against ten man Swansea City in the first leg of their Championship play off semi final and now has to secure a win at the Liberty Stadium if he is to take his side to Wembley.<\/p>\n
And he is hoping that the Swans show some tiredness on Monday night as he told the Evening Post "I think physically they will be more tired than us. <\/p>\n
"They defended deep after the red card and they made life difficult for us — that's what happens with ten men. They deserve great credit for the way they worked, but it was a big ask for them physically.<\/p>\n
"We will go down to Swansea and look to cause problems and you never know, they might be a bit weary in the second leg.<\/p>\n
"I was disappointed because I thought Swansea would start defending much deeper<\/p>\n
"That doesn't help us the way we play.<\/p>\n
"There's lots still to play for, there's lots still to happen," Davies declared.<\/p>\n
"Swansea I'm sure are delighted with a ten-man draw.<\/p>\n
"But I am full of optimism.<\/p>\n
"I said before the game that there are no favourites in the play-offs, at home or away. There's massive pressure on the home side sometimes and this is a very open tie. It can go either way, there's no doubt about it."<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
