Sinclair has been sensational in his first Swansea City season, scoring more than 20 goals which have helped lift the team to tomorrow's Championship play off final.<\/p>\n
And many have tipped him for a move should the Swans miss out on the coveted Premier League place to Reading but Sinclair has told the Daily Star that it is not the case.<\/p>\n
“Moving to another club in the Premier League – if we didn’t go up – is not in my thinking at all.<\/p>\n
“This is my first-ever season playing every week and I’m not going to want to go back and sit on the bench at a Premier League club every Saturday.<\/p>\n
“Coming on for ten minutes at the end of a game is not my idea of cutting it and it’s no good for my career. The only way I’ll be in the Premier League next season is with Swansea – and I’m convinced we’re going to get there on Monday.<\/p>\n
“People will always say that I have a point to prove to Chelsea in that I should be in the Premier League.<\/p>\n
“But this season I think I’ve already shown them they made a mistake letting me go at such a young age.<\/p>\n
“I’ve scored 24 goals in all and that’s quite good for a winger.<\/p>\n
“The trouble at Chelsea is that to make the breakthrough, at the age of 19 and 20, you need to be an established player.<\/p>\n
“The pressure there is to win trophies and that makes your development far harder.”<\/p>\n
