The Tottenham Hotspur and Wales star says he will be supporting Swansea City when they take on Reading in the winner takes all £90m match up.<\/p>\n
Bale told Wales on Sunday “Swansea have been unbelievable all season with the way they play football. <\/p>\n
“They probably play the best football in the Championship so they deserve to be in the Premier League.<\/p>\n
“They have a massive game on Monday and hopefully they will do it and get to the Premier League.<\/p>\n
“I’ll be supporting them all the way.”<\/p>\n
Bale is friends with Swans player of the year Nathan Dyer and he revealed that the wide man has been in touch with him “He’s already been texting me <\/p>\n
“I speak to Nathan quite a bit and hopefully Swansea can go up and we can have a good battle.<\/p>\n
“He thinks he can get the better of me so we will soon see if he gets there.<\/p>\n
“It will be good see Swansea in the Premier League and nice to be able to see one of my mates there to.<\/p>\n
“It would be massive for Welsh football. We’ve got a few Welsh players in the Premier League now and it’s good for the international team that we have more players getting that experience of playing at the top level.<\/p>\n
“It would also encourage more people to get into football so it would be massive for the country not just for Swansea.<\/p>\n
“The more players in the top flight the better for Wales and Gary Speed. The more experienced Premier League players we have the better we will become as a team.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
