Rodgers said after the goalless draw with Sunderland at the Liberty “We have not scored but we are not a team that does not look like scoring.<\/p>\n
“I thought that we were absolutely terrific apart from that final touch in front of goal.<\/p>\n
“You could see from our changes in the game that we were not going to sit on the 0-0, we adapt and make sure all our goalscorers are on the field.<\/p>\n
“We are doing everything we can it and it is just that little bit of luck.<\/p>\n
“Once the first one goes in the confidence will shoot up. That release of getting the first goal will move us on even further.<\/p>\n
“Danny hasn’t scored but you can see it is only a matter of time.<\/p>\n
“His intensity and workrate are excellent.<\/p>\n
“He will be disappointed that he did not score but he does a lot more for the team than just that. He is not just a striker who gets goals and nothing else.<\/p>\n
