Paul Lambert says that playing Swansea can be as tough as playing Manchester United<\/p>\n
Lambert was speaking after his side gained a 3-1 win over the Swans at Carrow Road lifting themselves into a very comfortable Premier League position.<\/p>\n
He said\u00a0“In a lot of ways playing Swansea is a lot tougher than playing Manchester United.<\/p>\n
“Nobody expects us to go to Old Trafford and get anything, but everyone expects us to turn up and win against Swansea even though they are a top side.<\/p>\n
“We have now had three fantastic games against them since I have been here and Brendan has really got them going.<\/p>\n
“Swansea were very good here last time they came.<\/p>\n
“We won 2-0 but they played better than us.<\/p>\n
“But we have moved on since then. We have different personnel and a different way of playing.<\/p>\n
“Swansea have different players as well, but they are a really good side and it’s testament to my lads that they managed to get three points.<\/p>\n
“I thought we were excellent from start to finish,” Lambert added.<\/p>\n
“There was a spell in the game where Swansea scored and were coming on strong, but apart from that I thought we were excellent.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
