Garry Monk was in no doubt that the Swans had thrown away two points after the 2-2 draw at Wolves<\/p>\n
Monk said after the game\u00a0“It’s two points dropped,” said Monk. “Over the game we were superb, and it was the reaction we wanted from last week’s defeat at Norwich.<\/p>\n
“But in the end it was a case of naivety from us. We played short, quick free-kicks when we should have slowed it down and played the percentage game more.<\/p>\n
“But we will learn from that.<\/p>\n
“We have our first away point and that’s the positive we can take from that game.”<\/p>\n
He added: “Their first goal gave them a lift and we didn’t deal with that as well as we should have.<\/p>\n
“We played so well for 80 minutes and 98 per cent of people in that stadium thought we would have had a tonking – but we showed that we can come to places like this and compete.<\/p>\n
We have to realise that if we’re in a situation like that again then we have to slow the game down and maybe not play the way we usually do.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
